On Plane-A-Day. Beautiful picture of Restored Tigercat "Big Bossman" taxing with wings folded. Right up close and personal. Marines paint job. What a hot rod those were.

Have already down loaded the pic to my picture files.   Need to get my Brodak  Tigercat flying again.

Here's mine. I ran the engines today. Hoping for some better weather to give it a flight.

I'm attaching a few photos from Reno 2008, F7F Tigercat "Big Bossman" owned at the time by Mike Brown. At that time it was one of the cleanest, best detailed regularly flown Warbirds anywhere on the planet. It's currently owned by Rod Lewis in Texas and now sports a silver paint scheme with "La Patrona" nose art...

The new silver scheme does nothing for the airplane, it was an immaculate example of the type up until that, uh, "facelift". :(
Narrowly averting disaster since 1964!

Outstanding, not only have the money to buy it but then repaint an already gorgeous airplane. Well more power to him. I always assumed I would like a ride in a Mustang or Corsair or even a Bearcat but a Tigercat would be a real kick in the butt to a person who thought a ride in an AT-6 was great.
