OK, start laughing, but here are two pictures of the prototype "European Style" profile Carrier ships. The lousy looking covering really isn't that poor, I just reflects the dormant "trumpeter Vines hanging over the table of our gazebo. Questions? The wing is held on and is removeable to try another type.

Hey, I like the idea. If we don't try it, how do we know if it works or not. D>K

interesting. waiting to hear how flights go.

I assume this is a NWS 40 device?

Please pictures of the underside of the plane.

Paul, not engraved in stone as yet. The whole project is to see if several new ideas an be put to work. I these two prototypes show promise then I will build something like the attachment for entry in a contest if I ever get up enough energy to ever fly competitively again.

I gave up on flat-bottom lifting airfoils.
Flat bottom airfoils let you fly slow, but make it harder to hang.
Symmetrical airfoils can be stalled-out easier and are thus better able to hang.

Paul, Have you tried a flat bottom airfoil without the bottom of the wing being covered? This approach is doing well in GB.
