My new Guardian is a round tail early production. Irvine .36 ABC, thinner wing and of all things a slider. I also again used Cunha's spring realease for the hook. I have yet to install the bumper line and release pin. It has the fuel tank recessed into the wing and weighs 46 ounces. I'll try to post more pictures.
Thanks

OOOOhhhh -- Eye Candy for carrier pilots! y1
Have you ever run an Irvine before? Any idea of what kind of speed you can expect?

Ive been running the Irvine for three years now. I have three of them and its a good strong motor. I only run 10% so I havent really pushed it but what I like about it is its ability to take an OS 4BK carb which has a big hole, runs on suction and has a sweet low end. The pilot needs more practice and I have a lot of fun. I dont know if the motor is still made but its an honest ABC, like for real. Not that ABN by OS. Cant wait til spring but winter is just starting.
Thanks
