NATS
« on: July 21, 2014, 08:31:39 PM »
A special thanks to all who made this year's NATS a success.

Art Johnson was the event director and Ted Kraver the center judge for the AMA events.  All the fliers took turns timing and a few spectators were drafted at times, Pete Mazur keep the deck going during the unofficial events and Bill Calkins took over the center judge duties. Dick Perry spelled Pete at times and also tabulated all three days. It takes a village to run the NATS these days but It all added up to making this year's NATS a great experience. Entries were up a bit and the flying was very good, even with the crazy wind on profile day.

It was fun to be involved. ' Said Hi to my friends and got to meet new ones. Picked up on the state of the art and came away with some ideas.

Eric Conley earned the Ely award. It was well deserved.

All in all it was a good day.
