Here are some photos of my new Conquest powered Sniper. I changed the fin and added a cockpit so it would resemble a Blackburn Firebrand. So far just a couple of flights but so far so good. Mike Potter

I like it. Nice touch using the "Firebrand" look and the exhaust manifold is a good idea.

Mike, that's a nice looking plane. I like the way you installed the fuel tank, I've never thought of mounting one that way and I have sure had my share of carrier planes that would go a little rich after take off. I'm thinking yours shouldn't be giving you any of that trouble? Can you tell us how much the plane it weighs? Eric

Mike,
Very nice looking plane, using the Firebrand scheme really makes the Sniper look completely different and like a real carrier plane.
There are some guys in my club that do the tank the same way, seems to work fine.

Interesting gear mount. I think I'll steal that idea.

Eric, the weight came out to 27oz.
Also thanks to Bill Bishoff for resizing the photos so I could post them. For some reason I can't get any of my photos small enough to post on Stunt Hangar. Mike

Here is a link to a great free program that allows you to re-size pictures easily. Stunthanger only allows a max of 1Mb per post, most camera take pictures that are 3-4Mb. So when you have 2-3 pictures each can only be about 333Kb
