Title: Looking forward to 2012's Profile
Post by: Joe Just on June 08, 2011, 10:29:06 AM
In 1991 I entered a somewhat obscure Boeing ship in sportsman profile at the Nats in IN/IL (Lawrence ?)  On takeoff the elevator stuck in up with semi-disasterous results.  I took off the engine and gave the slightly damaged plane to the owner of the T-Shirt business at the Nats.  Anyway, I've been thinking of giving this ship another try in both .15 and Sportsman Profile.  Not 100% decided as yet, but thought you might like to see what I have in mind.
Boeing added a lower wing and changed the designation to XF6B-1

There was a sport scale RC model of this plane published in MA some years back. Would probably be a good basis for a scale design.
