K&B 35 shiny case
« on: June 04, 2021, 12:52:20 PM »
I tried twice to post this with pictures , did not work. I am going to dabble in carrier again, got a bunch of kits to copy from and some engines. I have this K&B 35 with shiny case and a long tapered prop hub . This engine is new never run and has factory RC carb still on it. Would this make a good nostalgia class carrier engine?

this is a sport engine ,it has a bushing crankshaft, no ball bearings i dont think it would be a competative engine for N Carrier
rad racer

It is a dykes ringed engine that can outperform a ST G21/35.  For kicks, the small front-end (8011) ball bearing 40 front end bolts right on (same stroke).  Nice engine!

I think I still have some of those .40 front ends left over from a buddy that used the 40's for boat racing. I will dig around. Thanks for the tip.
