Title: Joe's new Profile for NW Sport 40
Post by: Joe Just on May 08, 2014, 07:31:59 PM
Yea, it is yet another Claude.  The body plans came from Ralph Saxton who has about a dozen profile Carrier planes using the Ringmaster wing.  This ship uses a foam wing.  Funny thing though.  Over the past 3 or 4 years Z I have lost about 56 pounds from this slim body but ever since then my planes have continually weighed more!  This Claude weighs 40 oz.
Check out Ralph's stuff <www.rsaxton.com

Hey Joe, the plane looks great and I hope it does you well. Went to the site and looked at his U/C handle.   I guess the handle must be for Profile Carrier only as I remember pull testing way more than 50 pounds on a few Class I & II planes.

I like the gear supports ...or gear doors. That looks like it will take a hard landing.
