Some may be aware of my system of hanging the TX around my waist in a box and supporting that box with cords around my waist and neck. While this has worked fairly well I decided to give the attached a try. It works ell with my slightly crippled right hand. The wood handle that is supported and held to the TX is one that origin ally was left over from a series of 50 3-line handles I sold several years ago. The handle is "tied" to the TX with two heavy wire ties and currently with several layers of electrical tape. If I get to go shopping soon I will try to find the tennis racket tape every one talks about. I have pull tested this arrangement to over 50 pounds of steady and held pressure. I think I was very lucky to have the wooded handle fit exactly within the TX's molded frame.

I like it. The handle does all the "work", and the transmitter comes along for the ride! As long as it's comfortable to use, why not? H^^

Bill, the new handle set up is really comfortable. I have now attached two pictures to explain. First pic shows my right hand. The first finger on the hand (trigger finger) has a permanent 90 degree bend and moves very little. I lost an argument with a APC 11x4 one morning and ended up with the finger with the new shape and dexterity. The second pic is how I hold any CL handle. My trigger finger is almost always held on the outside of the handle in a "U" shaped piece of plywood. In the 2.4 handle there is a conveniently shelf where he finger lays. I now use my index finger to control the trigger on the TX.
