Great pictures on the site!  Interesting...only 4 arresting lines on their fantastic deck.  This group should really be contacted about the Postal Carrier Contest. Anyone out there with their address? Anyone in OZ can email me or PM me for PCC info.

Go to the link in the post and click on about the CLAMF.   I have the site in my favorites so I can keep tabs on a certain Matthew Spencer.   Have plans he sent of his Folkerts I would like to get built.  H^^

By the way I like their carrier deck as it is more like a real carrier with only 4 lines to snag.

Aussie Navy Carrier forbids the use of sliders so I guess this places the event in the US Nostalgia category. As such 'hanging' is a rarity so the models need to handle the low speed with aplomb. Our rules also have a bias towards the low speed and landing instead of the high speed run.

The Brodak Guardian was upgraded with a larger tail surface which improved the handling. It was originally built with a sightly longer nose moment as we came to grips with a balance point that suited our flying style. With all the mods and lead in the nose it weights in at 47 ozs.. a bit heavy but great for windy days !!

Their deck is narrower too (5 feet I think) but the same total length,44 feet. Smaller size means lighter panels and easier to load y1.I like it!

I have a video of Carrier UK but at 436MB my ISP can't handle a file that big.
