Probably won't work without muffler pressure :(

Just one more reason to get muffler pressue allowed in Profile. With the possibility of skill classes muffler pressure in a class other than expert simply makes sense!

Pressure would sure allow a bigger carb, and hence more power.
The intent of a NO pressure rule was to force smaller carbs and make for less power.
How about 25's with muffler pressure? If we're going to legalize a whole new crop on engines, we might as well change to something you can still buy,

"Local rules" are the answer IMO. According to AMA if the "local rules" are announced at least a month in advance of the contest date, it's all right, and doesn't affect the event sanction.
Around here muffler pressure is allowed, just have to use 10% fuel. Doesn't bother me at all, but I'm not a "fast guy" anyhoo. Our turnouts are so low we have to be flexible.

Mike Potter has hit a homer with the rules for the new and growing NW Sport .40 Profile. Two to three yhears ago there were only 1 or 2 entrants in Carrier at the Contest Season opener in Portland,OR. This year there were 11 planes entered with 5 of these taking the first 5 places. Let the top guys fight it out with planes and engines and extreme flying, the rest of us are having FUN with limited planes, engines and absolutly no need to "push the envelope" flying. Bring back the fun of Navy Carrier! FLY SPORT .40 PROFILE!!!
Joe Just, who wishes that he could get rid of "Big Country Joe" ( my original name) and get back to just using my name that was lost in a computer problem while on this forum.

CS engines have some quality issues. Thats what you have give it a try. Magnum, T/ Tiger/even ST are much better. If your CS is fit well it should be pretty strong ..??
