Well do you think I can have it done before Monday at 5 am? I'm working on a clamp for the carb and then I have to cover the wings when I get home. I am hoping to get a test flight tomorrow.

QUESTION....are the paint scheme and marking (Playboy Bunny) allowable? Just wondering. Cool looking ship!

I think so. It was something that was suggested to me a couple of years ago.

Personally, I always try to at least associate paint schemes on the model with the era that the real airplane was from. So I have a real hard time with say an MO-1 with stars and bars but thats just me.

Well I finally finished it but it changed to a class 1. The other engine just isn't ready yet and I am anxious to see how this flies. It now has a nelson 40 standard rotation just running on muffler pressure. It has a Perry carb with a .375 bore and runs fine. I am hoping to fly it either later this week or this weekend. I haven't fit the cowl yet because it is just easier to make adjustments with it and the spinner off.

Well I test flew it this past weekend and it flew better than I thought it would. It seemed very stable even with 3 1/2 oz of lead in the tail. I did have a small mishap though while I was trying some low speed the engine flamed out at about 20 ft and it dropped like a rock and shoved the gear up through the wing. I thought I would have some rebuilding to do but when I cut the sheeting and looked in all that was broken was the straps that held the wire. Easy fix. I am also going to redo the slider more like Bills zero because it released on its own too early.
