This model of Ben Madsen in flight was truly a sight to beeee hold!
What an amazing scale ship this would make.
Anyone remember the model magazine that showed how to engineer a counter rotational prop arrangement for models?
If our gifted model designer and flyer Mike Potter wasn't still EXILED INTO SPARKY'S CYPERSPACE....I recall that he once showed me that article and with his expertise in design excellence...it would be great to see our skyshark58@comcast.net posting again on this forum.
(Uhhh? Ben Madsen...doesn't own a computer...but I know Ben often lurkes on Howard Lynn Dooty's computer fro time to time? LL~)
Time to dig out some old carrier slides and post a few of those awesomely beautiful working scale carrier models

Cool Airplane! I think the meanest looking was the Sky Pirate.

Actually the full-size is a Ryan Dark Shark Fireball. The kit was/is by Consolidated model airplane company. I built one with a McCoy 60 when i was a Junior in high school. I have one of the kits stashed in my "nostalgia" collection. And I still have the McCoy.

The consolidated kits were log style. I built there "TBF Avenger" a long time ago. Still see some there kits around. They are heavy.
