It looks like it was built by somebody who knows what he's doing.
I built one of those from a Brodak kit and also just finished another that was abandoned half-done.
It's about an $80 kit or $15 for the plans.
At $800 "buy it now" (no fuel tank) the owner seems to have something of a love affair with his model.

Hi Paul! Thanks for the kind words. Yep, I'm the one who built it and test flew it .... a couple of times! Yes, for the record, the fuel tank is included, just not the engine as I'm sure real competitors wouldn't want this old but really reliable engine, that I use for nearly all of my test flights.
Actually, just adding the advertised Brodak prices for the items listed on the box cover under "Other Items Required" one comes to a total of $320, not including postage / shipping :o :o That's why I felt $350 would be a fair starting price. I'm just looking to recover my costs so I can build something else .... hope that's not unrealistic :-\ !!

I would probably charge even more if I hoped to recover my labor at the new $15 minimum wage.

One can never recover the cost of building a model. The time , the labor , the love that goes into building from a kit or from scratch can never be recovered. My opinion is to sell cheap and take the loss and give someone else a chance to get into the sport. You could sell at a local swap meet and talk with those who might purchase and find it a good home.
