Title: Bill Bischoff's Off-White Zero
Post by: dale gleason on August 07, 2011, 04:58:02 PM
We flew today, Phil, Mike, Bill, and me......107 degrees. I didn't last very long. I'm just blown away whenever Bill creates a new ship.
Uncomplicated, clean, just nice. I tried to get some close-ups.....
Here we're in Hi-Speed, the brass thimble with all three lines through it is pinned in place, for Slo-Speed, full "up" on the elevation line releases the pin, the lines slide to the back of the slider wire and are locked there while the thimble free-floats, between the slider wire and the bellcrank....

So cool....

This should show the  reverse rotation Willy Wiley Hi-Revin' Mill (try to find one of these!). Rectangular tank, APC 9x6pusher prop.

Finally, the ship in action, the edge of the fast lane, where the rubber meets the road......
