All the black lettering on my airplane is painted. We have a vinyl cutting machine here at the hobby shop, so we cut it in-house. The "BB" and "53549" on the rudder were cut as a single mask for easier alignment. The stars and bars were from Major Decals. Use the pressure sensitive ones rather than the water slides. Clear dope attacked the decal substrate, but not so with the stickers.

Hi Bill,

Do you have any more of the Major Decals in house?  If so, how much would it take to buy them and have them shipped to me?  I do not have a local source.

SIG also has star and bar stick ons of very good quality just the right size.                  Mike
