A great bunch of carrier pictures David. They must have been taken by someone that knows what a carrier flier likes to look at. I tried to take some pictures at the Carrier Plus contest at Phoenix this last weekend and did my usual job with no aerial shots at all. We out here on the coast just don't seem to have the man power (or it might be stamina) to get the job done. Any way nice pictures, looks like a nice flying field, and I could never get my Skyray 35 to hang that way.  Eric

Thanks guys. We had a fun day. A big thanks goes to my mom Patty for being our dedicated timer all day. The picture credit goes to Sarah Smith. She has that stuff figured out! I do have to emphasize to her before the contest to take pics of airplanes though. She likes to take pics of tool boxes and people and other random things but somehow she makes them all look great.

Yeah, me neither.  It seems as if they all get real squirrely on high speed before you can get the CG far enough back for a decent hang.  Unless you're Pete Mazur.

I'm re-working an electric one for a friend and I was able to get it hanging reasonably well just this weekend, though.  And that's with the leadouts nowhere near as far back as we COULD set them up, so maybe there's hope for me and the Skyray after all.
