Well, John and his Wife made it to Akron only to be welcomed by high winds. John being a good trooper put in official flights in Profile .15, Class 2 and Nostalgia Profile I think. I'll get the scores posted. Us locals didn't fly. We still had a great time with the Vlna's. Thanks to the Vlna's for attending.

The Vlna's are a great couple. It was great to see them at Brodaks. And John knows what a little wind is. I remember guys just trying to keep the planes in the air at past NATS. Don't know how wind you had but try flying at a Wichita KS contest sometime.

John Vlna was awarded the following scores at the Akron Ohio carrier meet. These were all flown in high winds.
Nostalgia Profile 421.57 XPC-1, H Mottin design with ST35 R/C flat top
Class 2 AMA 378.5 Myrt, Roland Baltes design with OS 46 RE
.15 Profile 84.27 Kingfisher
John, many thanks for coming and showing us how to fly in high winds.
Thanks
