Title: Aeroplane Monthly, 3-views and aircraft information
Post by: Fred Cronenwett on February 04, 2012, 01:18:29 PM
When building models from scratch the first piece of information you need is the 3-view, then some pictures. One of the sources that I have in my Library is a British Magazine called Aeroplane Monthly.

Every month they have a feature called "Database" and it includes a 3-view, historical information, photographs, more than enough to document a model for CL Carrier competition. Typically these articles cover 18 or more pages in the magazine.

This is a list of the Issue of the magazine and the carrier aircraft that have been covered

Issue              Aircraft covered
Nov 2000               Mosquito
July 2001               Hawker Hunter

Sept 2002              Hawker Sea Hawk
Oct 2002                Corsair

I have seen very little information on the MO-1 compared to other aircraft.
