For several years I have been enamored with he <Carrier Deck> site.  These Europeans seem to always have more fun than we do, and the British Nats drew 28 contestants in what our system would call "Profile".  Along with that, when I produced nearly 200 Carrier kits many of hem ended up in England.  At a recent meet one of the planes met the water in an unusual fashion.  Seems like the Brits have developed a new "Fun" event that calls for launching off of a water deck.  In one picture one of my Wildcats takes off from a standard (short to us) Carrier deck. Nice action picture, but then a missed landing on the hard deck ends up with a "floating" Wildcat.
Anyway, I thought with all the bad National news lately you might like a bit of levity.
