Title: 15 Carrier Pat King PT 17 "Scale Trainer"

I need some advice as I have never done 15 carrier. Could some of you take a look at the plans of the Pat King 15 sized "Scale Trainer"
Stearman PT 17 which is all sheet wood for .15 It looks like I could use it for carrier???

I have done a number of bipes, they are fun but sometimes frustrating for carrier. Slow speed is usually OK but high speed they have a tendency to get squirrely.  My advice build a monoplane for your first carrier model

PS there was a bipe, the MO-Bipe for AMA profile published in the 70's, before hanging was legal. Here is the link to the article

The winning models in 15 carrier are generally "built-to-fly" thingies that don't look much like real airplanes.

If you plan to enter The Brodak there is a nice bonus for using a Brodak product like the Junior Lightning Streak. 

Biplanes tend to roll about their centerline very well, which is the opposite of what you need in carrier.

Paul brings up a good point. The Clown has also done well at Brodak's. I have always preferred my planes to be actually naval varients also.
