Save all the pieces.
« on: September 27, 2013, 05:52:28 PM »
I have heard this bit for years and it is a good one. First leave no trash on the field( it's just the polite thing to do), any field. Second, some of the parts may just glue back into place and Third, they can be used as former's/patterns for new pieces.
Not sure where exactly to put repairs, but I am in the process of repairing my Argus. I saved most of what we could find on the field. Good thing as I can't find my Argus plans.
So I am doing the copy the broken stuff route.
I have taken some photos. One thing to all beginners and Intermediates, never give up hope after breaking your pride and joy, just collect the parts an you will be amazed at how they can be used for repairs.
Photos follow. H^^
