Title: Wing Jig
Post by: Jim Snelson on October 08, 2006, 05:10:50 PM
I have started production of the CLC (Control Line Central) Wing Jig. This is not a survey. I am actually making these as you read this. I expect to start shipping orders around the 1st of November. There will be a v-block available  that I am working on that will be an add on the set. You will be seeing these in the very near future. I also have started production of a Fuselage Jig.

The wing jig is priced at $79.95 and the fuselage jig at $39.95.
The v-block price is yet to be determined but I am expecting them to be around $20.00.

You can order them at

If you have any questions please contact me at clcentral@msn.com.

Hi Jim,

Those look great!  A question that maybe some others would like to know, also:  Do you supply a base, or does the customer have to make their own?  Not a problem, but that wasn't real clear to me.  The price sounds real good, and the parts shown look great!

Thanks!

For the wing jig you will recieve 16 of the brackets as shown in the photos. Enough for 8 on the leading edge and 8 on the trailing edge.

For the fuselage jig set you will recieve 10 brackets. Enough for 5 on each side.

You will have to provide your own base to mount it to. The cost would have to go up greatly if I provided the base, especially the cost of shipping.

I will provide more info as I move along with this project and hopefully clear up any questions.

Thanks,

Jim Snelson

Thanks, Jim!  I thought a base would create some problems with shipping costs.  y1

That is a really good looking set up!

I wanted to put toghether a set up that would be as affordable as possible and still have a decent unit. I hope I have accomplished that.

Jim, can you give us the dimensions of these brackets? Looks great!

Dick, the base is 2" long and the upright is 4" . The blocks are 1/4" square. It is made from 3/16" x 3/4" 6061 aluminum. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks,

Jim Snelson
