Should I build The Chief per the plans,that show a 2.5 to 3 degree positive incedence
in the wing in relation to the thrust line and stab, or zero it out? Poliwog airfoil plans.
I don't intend to compete with the model.

I think your plans must have some stretch or shrink in them - I cannot fathom that the wing and stab would be anything but 0-0 with the thrust line.

The Chief plans I have are quite old. No company logo anywhere only an arrow with
The Chief in script over the arrow on the bottom right corner of the plans. The
engine bearers and the stab are parrallel with the top of the fuse. side piece. To my
eye the plane looks like it's level not tilted. It's not a major problem at this stage
though. I don't plan on using the polywog airfoil so when I make the cutout I'll put
it at zero. Good info though it helped make up my mind, thanks.

I just checked my plans for the OTS Chief and Ty is right. The engine C/L, wing C/L, and stab C/L are not parallel to the top of the fuselage. They are all at 0 incidence to each other, but not to the top of the fuselage. I believe the plans I have are from Tom Dixon.

I have plans for the Papoose. The top of the fuselage sides is not parallel to the stab, wing or thrust line. Another airplane that is similar is the original kit Shark 15 profile. When I scratch built one, I cheated and made the main fuselage top profile parallel and made the canopy top block to hide what I had done.
