Hi Mark,
I'll get a personal email headed your way soon, but I want to say that you're dead-on with your last post, I AM spraying the same material most of the time.  Once in a while I will use a two part clear, but I am usually using either nitro-cellulous stringed instrument lacquer or dope, and the properties are 99% the same, even as to the shrinkage rates.  (Comparing the nitro to non-shrink butyrate.)
(The non-shrink is really a misnomer, of course, it should read something like "Not-nearly-as-much-shrinkage" or such. )S?P
Mark, worry not at offending me, it's very hard to do, I just didn't want to have offended you for you obviously are a man of integrety and one who knows his profession very well.  I can see where you're coming from with the need to handle such a variety of materials.
Thanks for the kind words about my guitars, and you'll hear from me soon.
Blessings,
Will

Will,

The web page looks good. My son is a guitar player and audio engineer. I sent him the page and he may contact you. He's a guitar collector of sorts. I've repaired a couple of his guitars. He picked up a 1966 SG Classic that I repaired and refinished. I understand the differences in doing something like this versus painting a plane. Man, I spent a lot of time doing research before tackling that.

Happy Thanksgiving. All the best.

That sounds LL~ LL~ like what we used to do in vacation bible school, you know, you would take a leaf and lay it on the paper, dip a tooth brush into the paint and flit it with your thumb to spray the paint on the paper,, I bet my mom still has some of those "paintings" I made then

Yeah Will you could, but then you would have to find one of those $300.00 military toothbrushes to get the quality!
