Well, it's bonehead time. I got everything put together and sanded down except the nose. I put the engine in and spinner and such, then I realized that the forward mountings for the cowl were directly in the way of the needle valve exit and, of course, the fuel line on the other side. Duh!So, after messing around with it for way too long trying to figure a way around it, I had to cut the forward portion of the cowl off and recarve it and cut the mounts out. Now I have to figure out another cowl hold down setup. OK, not my brightest moment. So, I'll keep thinking about it. I'm sure I'll come up with something.Yea, real bright builder. That's me.
