I'm using Urethane (Dupont/Nasson) for the first time and have started sanding with 1500 and have already sanded through color in a few spots and have also found some spots that need more clear. Can I simply just shoot another coat (I shot this last night and wouldn't be able to do this until tomorrow at best)?

All the color is dope and the spots I sanded through are to the primer. The clear is a 4 to 1 mix.

James, we need to know more about what system you are using,
ie
substrate, dope or ?
color dope or"?
how long has it been since you cleared it?
How far into the color did you sand? all the way to the base?
Randy Powell is probably as knowledgable with mixed systems as anyone that I know, perhaps he will weigh in for you
If it is a base clear system, color auto base, and urethane clear, you can recoat when the clear is cured, usually about 24 hours,,
if you have laquer or dope color,, well you are going to have to be very gentle, especially with the color as any build up of solvents has the tendancy to creap back under the edge of the clear and it will swell and lift the clear, just like paint stripper.....
hence why I dont advocate dope color and urethane clear,,
