Hinge glue
« on: March 14, 2018, 02:44:00 PM »
Is there another glue for gluing nylon pin hinges, similar to the old Pacer hinge glue?
Thanks

I use 30 minute epoxy with some microballoons, about a 40/40/20 mix. Denatured alcohol to clean up the squeezeout.
I have not found anything better.
I have seen the light, and it’s powered by a lipo.

YES  use  canopy glue  like  RC 56  or  equivalent , I use epoxy to glue the hinges into the flaps and elevators, when dry  I then use  canopy glue to hinge to the  airframe.
Canopy white glue is  made for gluing plastic to wood
