Title: Tite Bond Glue
Post by: Terry Bolin on January 24, 2011, 02:45:24 PM
For those of you who have used the Tite bond brand glues to build with, Did you find it easy to sand like the Great planes or Sig brand resin glues? Thanks ! Terry

I think it's a better all around product.

Try it, you'll like it !

I use it alot but I have found that double glueing really improves the strength of the bond. This prevents leaching of the glue into the grain and possibaly weakening the joint. I just smooth it out with my finger and it dries pritty quick that way. Try it!---LOUIE  H^^

Hi, Terry,
We use the original TiteBond glue for much of the structure, including areas that need sanding at some point. Used
sparingly, it sands well, and have not seen a reason to switch to something else!
