So who's got the plans for the S.C.? Is it Tom Dixon?

Thank you, Jerry

If you have a set  of plans by Joe Wagner, he has the mods for the Super Chief on those, I believe also.  I haven't had mine out in a while but some one else may have a set handy to check.

There was a "Super Chief", apparently back in the 1950's, but Tom Dixon designed another "Super Chief" sometime in the '80's or so. It's confusing, of course. I think Gerald wants the Dixon design. Dave Royer flew one of them for about 20 years, here in the PNW, with a Merco .49 or .61. Flew/flies good.  y1 Steve

Joe Wagner's plans has the wing span at 53 1/4 inches. Paper stretch not considered. The original (flown in the 1950 Nats) and the Veco kit model are shown on the plans.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.

My large Super Chief (Dixon) started with a Merco .49 but ended with a Merco .61 because it was lighter. A joy to fly. And it was only 7 years Steve.  <=
