Larry,
I took a look at that. Interesting.
I'm not sure if that's the same CF vinyl that's offered in rolls for vinyl cutting equipment?
I just had Vector's vinyl sample catalog out a day ago, for another reason, and noticed their new "peel n stick"
CF offerings. Two types actually.
Vector is a brand name and maker of vinyl materials and my local vinyl supplier carries this brand. I imagine it could be googled.
Here's the thing. What Vector offers in CF vinyl, as other suppliers do, now I'm referring to vinyl suppliers who produce vinyl for the sign and graphics industry, this stuff is only "cosmetic," as is any vinyl material produced to be run through a vinyl cutter.
"Looks real!" That's a line from the movie Galaxyquest, I couldn't resist it.
That CF and Vector's CF does look real. Vector's CF vinyl material has texture, it's not smooth like colored vinyl, it actually looks and feels woven. It's 5 mil thick.
Now, it would be interesting to know if the CF sheets available from the Co. in your link, was real CF, that offers strength, instead of just the look of CF.
I have a project I'll be eventually working on in bits and pieces, where CF and foam may be of good use.
I may send that Co. an inquiry.
Nice lead, thanks for sharing.
