I need to know how to remove a monokote design that was placed on top of monokote finished wing. looks bad and heat doesn't seen to help. any suggestions? John

Acetone carefully applied to edges of trim to dissolve the adhesive, lift the edge of the trim as the adhesive softens. Clean up the mess with acetone dampened rag or paper towel.
If you don't know anything about acetone----it is very flammable and it's not good for the body.

If it really is Monocote, it may be darn near impossible. If it is Ultracote, then heat will allow you separate the two (at least when you first put it on, it was one of the "features"--I am not sure about long term. Other covering materials may be like Ultracote.
