I'm using exclusively for the first time on my TP ball links for the controls. Last night, we made up the flap pushrod and I do have to say it was extremely easy to do, much easier than the other way we made controls.
Now my question is, when using ball links, should there be slop in the elevator, and how would you accomplish that?
Thanks in advance H^^

IMHO, no slop anywhere in the control system. And that is pretty much automatic with ball links. In fact I can't think of any safe way to introduce slop into a control system with ball links.
Some use play in elevator control to solve hunting in level flight. But if you build it straight with motor down thrust and/or positive stab incidence, that dog won't hunt...
