I was wondering how it was progressing.

Did you decide on an engine, I believe you were tossing up between an MVVS .49 and a ST .51?

You will probably be happy with the MVVS, even though they are a trifle weighty they are quite a strong engine.
I am very impressed with mine.

Look forward to getting an ST .51 one of these days to see how they compare.

I ( and others i'm sure) am very keen to see how your gee bee progresses, it is looking awesome so far!

I expect that weight will be about 1800g (63,5 Oz).
I know it is not speed building standard like for example Robert Storick's "Building Shows".
I know I demand endless patience from you, but family, work, flying ... you know  n~.

 I know what you mean about family, work and other priorities slowing things down.

 No need for excuses as your work is immaculate.
 If the finish comes up like the construction it will be a truly outstanding model that certainly puts my stuff to shame.

Artur,

That is one terrific looking Gee Bee.   I've seen other Gee Bee designs in the air, and they are spectacular!

Couple of questions about your plane:

Did you do all the construction design work?

If done by CAD, what CAD program did you use?

How do you plan to 'skin' the fuselage....are you going to use the 'moulding' technique?

It's a superb project....keep us up to date.

1. My plane is inspired by Jeff Kemp's Gee Bee Z, but all the construction design is my work.
2. I use Auto Cad 2002.
3. Fuselage cover on my Gee Bee will be mixed. I intend to apply planking and stringers.
