Profile fuselage laminating

So you have your 2 stiff 1/4 inch pieces
and you use epoxy to put them together
How much do you scrap off
Do you thin the epoxy to get it to flow
How do you keep the weight down

 How much do you scrap off - scrape with a credit card till it is not shiny

Do you thin the epoxy to get it to flow - not required, but heat gun works

How do you keep the weight down - the process described is extremely light
