« on: October 18, 2006, 02:27:31 PM »
I see guys building with these brightly colored small spring clamps. Where do you get them? Iwas at Lowes today and all they had were small metal spring type, and very, very strong spring. THANKS Ron.  AP^

Walmart has them.  They come in a clear plastic tube.

Make sure to LOOK in the tube before you buy them. I've noticed some tubes are full of BROKEN clamps.

I think on average 1 clamp in each pkg was broken.
But they were only like 3$ for a set of about 12 i think.

The local Home Depot used to have the medium size clamps in a big barrel.  That was back when the clamps first started showing up in the stores.   H^^

Try to get the one's that have a two or three different types in the tube.  If you can find them, they have a few of the long nosed clamps that are really useful.  I found mine at Canadian Tire, but have seen them at Walmart, specailly around Xmas. H^^
