Bell Crank mount reenforcement

Having had a bell crank mount rip out before, and since then have re-enforced the BCM by placing it so it would connected to the spar. In this wing I am placing the BCM farther away from the spar so my leadouts don't rub the wing gear torsion block. What is a safe way to brace the BCM's ? or should I just make the BCM so it does set against the spar and brace the rear with 1/4 sq. between the ribs ? Is 1/8 light ply acceptable for the BCM's ? It will be a suspended system.  Thanks

Some doublers of 1/8th balsa on the ribs, and have the 1/8th ply flush with the top of the ribs so that it glues firmly to the center sheeting.  If it's glued that way, it will be safe since it will have to not only rip out the ribs, but the sheeting as well.  If you feel the need, add some 1/4" sq. subspars to the center ribs at the front and rear of the ply.

This has always worked for me.

I use a NO-bolt setup with an axle soldered or epoxied into the bellcrank.  The axle fits into a pocket made by reinforcing the center rib with 1/32" or (on heavyweights) 1/16" plywood.  The sides of the pocket are 1/8" x 1/2" spruce. 

Finally (not shown) is a cap made of some scrap, maybe 1/32" ply or whatever is handy.

Used countless times, never failed.

Note:
This particular Fox bellcrank has been in several combat jobs.  It was rehabed for more duty by bolting on a DuBro 2/56 ball link.

  You can put a triangulr sht. gusset . top and bottom too! to the spars.

  on the next bay in , grain along the long edge .
