I've really buckled down the past month or so and have been determined to get this Nobler/P-40ish thing finished during this winter's building season. A little bit of time off work over the holidays has helped too. As with most builds it seems there's a lot of stuff I like here, but there's already a few things I'd do differently next time. Overall the look is coming out more or less how I'd originally intended though. I've got some new paint scheme ideas for this one that I'm anxious try too so it's feeling good to finally get close on this thing. Since I've got a bunch here, these pics will basically pick up where the "Back on the Nobler Bash" thread leaves off... ;D

Rather interesting looking creation, I must say. Bet it's going to fly pretty awesome, though. Did you just have a bunch of parts laying around or what?

Nope, at least nothing I've used here anyway. Just a lot of scrap wood, a scroll saw, and some sandpaper. ;D
