Title: New Vector 40 Build
Post by: Don Jenkins on October 04, 2013, 12:46:52 PM
After 8 weeks of fun building in the garage, I am ready to start the finishing process on my new Vector 40.  I am using an OS 46 LA, a Tom Morris ball link control system and Randy Smith carbon fiber landing gear and wheel pants.  Any photos out there of fancy paint schemes on Vectors???

Hi Don,

Looking great so far!  The Vector 40 is a great flying model!

I put the Vector 40 build on hold for a while and got in quite a bit of flying in preparation for the Huntersville, NC contest, which of course was a great venue as always!!!  Thanks MCLS!!!  Anyway, I finally covered the Vector (and used the last of my stashed SIG heavy silkspan) and sprayed some primer.  Thanks Ed Ruane for loaning me the paint stand which works quite well and makes painting a lot easier.  I now must start my least favorite part of the build, wet sanding!
