Hi, I'm trying to learn about the Tom Morris controls systems so I can put them in a Ruffy I am building. How do I contact Tom or what is the best way to get info and where can I purchase them? Thanks, Jim

You're making a good decision by going with the Morris products. Properly put together, it's almost bullet proof and it's the one thing in the model you'll never have to worry about.

Like Ty said, look at Controlline Central's website for all the Tom Morris products. When you get ready to paint the plane, don't forget to get your letter and number masks from them also!

One caution on using the ball links, and I cannot 100% substantiate this, but don't run the ball link up "hard" on the threads. Seems if you bottom put the threads, some binding can work its way into the ball. I try to keep the ball link threaded a touch over 1/2 way onto the threads and no problems. They will give the smoothest working controls I have ever used.

And as I learned at the last VSC, do build with ball links if the plane is going to sit in a 120° garage and cold winter in very low humidity. I left a plane with ball links in a friend's garage in Arizona to use at VSC. The controls locked up over the year it sat there. Sigh.... Been using them for years with never a problem before that.
