Post by: Paul Taylor on May 19, 2011, 09:21:23 PM
Is this a good weight on pants?

I think I am ready to apply paint to them.

A few coats of clear with silkspan on them.

The wheels are probably 90+ % of the weight.   Now finish them.  H^^

Thanks guys... I best get the plane done first. I still need to glue the wing and stab in. I have scheduled some time with Jim Lynch so he can help me get the wing in right the first time. Should be ready to start painting after the 27th. H^^

And just wait until you the the paint that goes on this puppy. Somebody is going to really like it. ( W.R.) LL~

Personally I think those pants are porkers....you better send them to me for proper dispossal! H^^  How about a shot of the plane your putting them on?  If the weight of those pants is any indication, the plane should be floating on its own! LL~

Wait til you have a set of ribs that won't even register on the postal scale.  I thought the battery was dead.  I think I had to go to grams to get them to register.   H^^
