Title: Must be Friday the 13th
Post by: Randy Powell on July 13, 2007, 10:27:44 PM
So, I'm out in the shop, minding my own business and just finishing up doing the rough sanding on the new plane. I was then filling in some small gaps at the rear of the elevator left with I made room for the horn. I probably should have been paying more attention, but I dribbled some CA on the little piece of filler balsa I put in the the little hole and managed to get it on the horn bearing. Now the controls and stiff (at least they aren't frozen). So I spent two hours trying to dig glue from arou the horn through the access hatch. I'm probably going to have to cut around the horn from the outside to fix it.

Man, what a pain. Must be Friday the 13th.

Mark,

Yea, I finally got it cleared. What a pain. Controls are free again. Now, if I can just decide how I want to attach the cowls...
