Elmers advanced probond glue
« on: March 21, 2014, 05:13:53 PM »
Has anyone tried this yet? Bottle says it will adhere porous and non porous material(even to each other). If not I guess I'll pony up the $$ and be the guinea pig.

I believe there was a whole Thread on that stuff.

Did a search before asking, didn't have any listings. Went to Lowes and read the  fine print. Wood to wood adhesion is average, really excels at porous to non porous joints. Might have use for gluing motor pads to beam mounts, if you do that kinda thing.

I think it is supposed to be equivalent of the no-longer-made RC56 canopy glue.

I love RC56 ... damn another product made of unobtainium.  I guess Sigment is a suitable replacement for canopy attachment.

We would drill a row of tiny holes through the canopy bottom or where it would attach.

Sandwich balsa on both sides. Didn't go anywhere.

Cleared them also along with the model.
