Howard Rush's Impact graphics - how to question

I'm interested in knowing how Howard did the cool graphics on his impact seen in the above photo.

Is there already a detailed discussion somewhere I can read?

Thanks,
Lane

Lane,

Howard used a vinyl mask. He plotted the checkerboard out with a CAD program and used an exported CAM file to cut a vinyl mask. Sort of like the files used with a laser cutter. I'm told that the actual application wasn't very difficult.

I'm sure you could email Howard and he could give you all the gory details. But that's the overview.
