I like the rolled lip around the front of the cockpit opening, a neat detail and not real easy to get "right".

This is not a exact copy of Tom's Minado its closer to my XL. One thing I don't want to leave out is Tom's attention to the small details. Cockpit, wing and stab.flap and elevator fairings. Along with some interesting wheel pants.

Sparky, just thought I'd ask a few more questions about the hinges.

How do you stop paint and dope from getting into the hinges?

Can you give us a bit more detail on the hinges, I know you said you have to tamp down the bushing, I'd like to see one up close.

Are these going to be available on stunt hangar hobby?

Dope in the hinges. At first I had the same concern as you but after doing it ,it became clear its a none issue. You can paint right over them and there is no binding. Tamping down the bushing is nothing more than rolling over the grommet on the other side of the hinge. All the hinges and horn attachments are brass bushed. Meaning the hinge pin is passing through a brass bushing as well as the control horn. I will do a video in the rolling over the brass after I finish this wing as I have glass on my bench right now and I don't want to shatter it.

Seen the packages of hinges at Brodaks and I should have gotten some.   But, then I would have to build a plane for them.    It was great seeing all of you guys and gals at Brodaks.   Now I need to go to the shop where there is sound and watch the videos again.

Enjoying watching these building vids Sparky....getting inspired for some building. You are quite the craftsman.
My building skills are minimal but hope to be even close to your caliber someday.
Cool to hear the shout out))))
