Title: Mechanics Illustrated plans.
Post by: Perry Rose on December 24, 2021, 06:58:43 AM
The "M.I. Bipe". I found the plans in an old magazine and built the thing in 2013. A Fox .19 and it flew quite well. There wasn't enough room for a fuel tank but I have ways.

Not to be "pissy," but I think you have a spelling error.  LL~

One of those older magazines had a PBY in it. I'd love to find time to build one. According to the article, it can be built for water operation.

Another had a pair of Cox .049 "jets." They were basically flat plate wings, simple box fuselages and mimicked an F-16 and Tomcat. I can't find that one anymore for some odd reason. My critical thinking skills are in critical demand...as in I wish I could remember stuff like I used to. Ooooph!

That's a good pun. The computer didn't red line it so it's spelled properly. That's a quote by Kelly Bundy from an episode of Married With Children.

Married With Children.  Yeah, I remember that show, it cracked me up.  Al Bundy, always the loser, except when he mentioned the time he scored four touchdowns in one high school game.  In one episode, Bundy said Kelly, his daughter, was such a poor student that she even flunked lunch.
