 ??? has any body ever tried to make a hanger 9 plane into a control line plane? or any of those nice foamies they look great  and their almost done.

Richard Oliver modified an ARF similar to the Hanger 9 ships and said those he did were excellent stunt ships! y1

Richard's trick, which he explained in detail somewhere, was to find the right size plane with a two piece wing that could be glued together.  Most of the RC ships use plug on wings.  The G's in a stunt pattern will batter that tube in tube joint pretty badly.
