Rotten pics, I know, and pleae ignore the mess...but this is the latest and greatest version of my LittleAxe 1/2A stunter. Major structural changes to lose a BUNCH of weight. Earlier versions consistently hovered around 15 oz.--quite a load even for the Norvel .061. I'm shooting for 10 oz. with this one, I think that'll put it over the top concerning the performance I want. As it sits, it's about 5.5 oz. More nearly finished than it looks.

I knew silk and dope was one of the lighter finishes but didn't realize it finished this light. I weighed 1 square yard of lightweight silk at the post office and it was .3 oz. y1

Hi Tom, I thought I replied to this once but it's gone...anyhow, thanks for the info, it's very interesting. I wonder where the "lite" films would place?
