I've got an extra 1/4" balsa sheet that came in a kit that was an optional cheek cowl for electric. It's got 3 cheek cowls for a FTwister laser cut but never punched out. It's a nice piece of wood and every time I look at it I think of mixing epoxy and micro balloons and filling the gaps with a small syringe and using it for a stab/elevator that will also get fiberglassed. What do you think, crazy?

Yes crazy.  Needless added weight. Start with fresh wood.

Right up until you try to cut or sand a cross them. Then you will see how much stiffness they add! 👎

I like the stuff you come up with, Motorman.
