Hi guys,
Has anyone used this product? How do you apply aerosilk, do you wash it or do you just wet it and apply it the same way you apply silkspan? I have never used silk, always silkspan. Is there a grain that you have to apply in the correct direction? I bought some the other day and noticed there wasn't any direction to follow. If I knew what I was doing I wouldn't have gotten so old. I'm hoping the silk will be strong enough to with stand what Mr. Ted's Nobler encountered. If you haven't seen the video, you have missed out on something great. Anyway I would appreciate any input, before I destroy another finish. Gary

It is just silk and as with any silk it is very strong. Check your email for some info i gave on how I apply silk. Here's two silk covered planes.

If you have any questions fell free to ask. I have done silk over many things and I'll let you know about my problems before you have them.

Just to let you know I've never used color on my silk. I have always done it in clear with colored or printed silk. I have plans to build a Orental this winter and will post as I build and plan on putting silk on it. #^
